We have a slightly chubbier 66 style neck (This is NOT a big neck, just a little more girth) and had custom wound tbird pickups installed. This bass sounds and plays SICK! Has that 60s tbird punch but with the 60s Jbass articulation. I had this bass built for Dr Ben (my biz partner) and he wont put it down! We\'ll sell ya this one or build one. Bluesman Vintage - Kebos Truth Serum Model J62 - 2012

Kebos is pleased to announce our retail alliance with our good friends at Bass Northwest in Seattle!  This bass is available for sale exclusively with them! 1-866-624-1722. Truth Serum Model Vintage J – Truth Serum ® as we named, designed and defined this bass. When we get in an old bass that’s beat to snot and plays and sounds nuts, we call it the Truth ®.  Being these are very hard to find, we decided to make a replica. Heavy relic in shoreline gold with a matching head, all aged vintage style premium hardware, Custom wound Allen pickups and a neck profile of our design.  We opted for the stacked controls to provide total tonal control.  The pick ups are very reminiscent of a great set of 1966 Fender pickups with the focus mids, more bottom and singy but not screechy highs. The neck has the jazz width nut BUT the neck is a little deeper than stock and really helps the tone. We love this one!  Comes with an OHGB.

Bossa Bass 4 - Custom Ordered for Jerry Barnes!

Bossa Bass IV – From the Jerry Barnes Collection – This bass was custom ordered by my friend Jerry. If you don’t know Jerry, Google him – If this bass is good enough for him, imagine what you could do with it!  Nice slim tapered J-style neck, trad SB finish and ebony board. The bass reminds me of a kindasorta F-Bass at ½ the price.  So near mint but is missing a knob cap. Comes with a nice GB.

Hoyt 2010

What a way cool bass.  This is a real fancy high quality bass from Karl Hoyt.  JJ set up with Vol/Blend/Tone set up.  Plays and sounds dreamy and we put it in a good HSC.

Ken Smith KSD J 5 USA

This 9.0 pound thunder stick plays and sounds NUTS!  Very clean but shows some thumb wear that’s no biggie at all.   This is a terrific varient from our friends at KSD.  Has the OHSC but the center lock is disconnected as the combo changed.  I don’t have the patience to figure it out.  Its all there and in real nice shape.  Great bass, nice case.

Spector NS2A Early Asian Model

This is a REAL NICE BASS that has a Badass counter sunk and it looks so good, it looks stock. Bass plays and sounds NUTS.  Has the hi-$$ OHSC too. 9.2 lbs of killer classic AFFORDABLE bass!  This bass rivals some basses costing 5x this amount!  Missing a screw or 2, has Drop D installed and the orig tuner in the case!

James Trussart Steelcaster Bass 2005

Boy this thing sounds like a train!  I never used one before and my tech asks me what preamp is in it..  Um its passive…  WOW this has a killer focused tone and plays GREAT! Super clean, all tags, 05-xxx sn, not too heavy at just over 10 lbs and has a nice expensive case.  What a nice cool bass!

Warwick Nobby Meidel ca 1983

Kebos is pleased to announce our retail alliance with our good friends at Bass Northwest in Seattle!  This bass is available for sale exclusively with them! 1-866-624-1722. Yep, we got us a coveted Nobby Meidel!  The bass is very clean and plays and sounds great!  Like all of them, it is missing the kickstand and the glued on plate is awol.  The reason this bass is not 5-6k like the other comps on the market is the fact that it had small shaft bass tuners professionally installed like Warwick should have done in the first place. Also has new knobs per original. They look right at home and you cant tell!  The bass is also dope clean.  The orig gigbag is fully functional but the zipper came loose at the bottom.  Nice bass fairly priced.
